Communicate food waste diversion successes and metrics to students and employees

• Put a white board in the cafeteria or include in morning announcements some of the following data:

• Keep a tally of how much food was put on a food share table instead of being thrown away.

• Count how many garbage bags are taken out of the cafeteria before and after starting a compost program.

• Weigh your compost buckets.
