A school uniform exchange is a great way to help families save money and keep textiles out of the landfill. Set up collection days for families to drop off gently used uniforms that no longer fit, have volunteers inspect and organize the clothes by size, and then have days for families to come and pick out new-to-them uniforms. Uniform exchanges can happen at the beginning of the school year, or seasonally.
