The Hub’s goal is to help mitigate the effects of climate change by increasing recycling, reuse, and landfill diversion rates in the greater Cincinnati area. However, the Hub is much more than a recycling drop-off location; employees and volunteers strive to increase awareness of the connections among “things,” consumer habits, and harmful environmental consequences. The Hub offers electronic recycling events, hosts ZeroLandfill take away days where anyone is welcome to take items for reuse, and has recently started offering craft courses open to the public.
