For Deeper Roots, coffee is not just the product they work with; it’s what connects them with others and shapes their relationships and responsibilities. From those who grow it to those who drink it, among their team and within the community, Deeper Roots is aware of their impact and strives to be good for the people. As an extension of this philosophy they launched their Community Blend Giveback program in 2020, where funds are raised through purchases of their Community Blend Coffee and divided 50/50 between an organization local to Cincinnati and an international project with their partners in coffee-growing regions. They also work closely with local vendors to strengthen the local economic network and continuously look for ways to reduce their waste through recycling, robust re-use, and composting.
