They firmly believe that sustainable thinking and action must permeate their entire team and business ethos. Some highlights of VEGA’s sustainability efforts include:
• Energy Efficiency: 100% of their energy consumption across their Mason and Oakley campuses is derived from renewable clean energy sources.
• Waste Management: A comprehensive recycling system is in place across the Mason campus including glass, plastic, aluminum cans, paper, cardboard, ink cartridges, light bulbs, e-waste, and batteries. VEGA also goes beyond the industry standard to ship products in an efficient fashion that minimizes unnecessary consumption.
• Wildlife Habitat: During the construction of the Mason campus, VEGA took efforts to restore the natural surroundings through the development of a Certified Wildlife Habitat that includes hiking trails and a monarch waystation.
