FIBONACCI BREWING COMPANY

Fibonacci Brewing Company, a certified woman-owned brewery and urban farm located in Mount Healthy, proudly stands as the only urban farm brewery in the country. They emphasize sustainability by sourcing ingredients locally from their property, nearby farms, and foraging. With goats, chickens, and honeybees onsite, nature plays an integral role in the brewery experience. Fibonacci Brewing Company is committed to principles of equity and inclusion within both their business and community, intentionally creating an environment where all individuals can find a sense of belonging and safety, fostering a culture of purposeful inclusion.

Why They're Green

Fibonacci Brewing Company is a distinctive fusion of brewery and urban farm, creating an exclusive 'farm to tap' experience within their brewhouse. They are dedicated to incorporating local ingredients into a minimum of 90% of their beer offerings, achieved through collaborations with neighboring farms, foraging, and onsite production. To complete their sustainable cycle, they ensure eco-friendly disposal of spent grain and yeast, whether through onsite composting or at other local farms.

Additionally, Fibonacci actively supports the Mt. Healthy community through a local farmers market held on the first Sunday of each month from May to November. The market addresses local food insecurity and enhances access to fresh produce with the inclusion of SNAP and Produce Perks programs.

Furthermore, Fibonacci offers a range of farm classes, focusing on community education and sustainable practices. These classes cover various topics such as mushroom growing, composting, plant propagation, and more, providing valuable knowledge to empower the community and contribute to a greener, healthier environment. This holistic approach underscores Fibonacci Brewing Company's commitment to sustainability and community welfare, making a positive impact beyond their beer.
