CINCINNATI COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL

Cincinnati Country Day School is a coeducational, independent school serving students from 18 months through grade 12. The school provides a rigorous academic curriculum enriched with arts, athletics, and experiential learning, all within a supportive community that emphasizes character, leadership, and lifelong learning.

Why they're 513 Green?

Cincinnati Country Day School fully integrates sustainability into academic and campus life. The 60-acre campus includes an outdoor education center, pollinator gardens, no-mow zones, native plantings, and an arboretum that all support biodiversity and outdoor learning. Students actively participate in recycling, composting, and food rescue initiatives, and the school goes beyond typical recycling by collecting and recycling hard-to-recycle items such as batteries, toner cartridges, Styrofoam, flexible film, and a host of other materials. Water-bottle refill stations throughout the school as well as washable cafeteria place settings help reduce single-use plastics. Outdoor education, environmental education and service learning are woven throughout all grade levels, fostering a culture of stewardship and community responsibility.
